The short answer is YES! When filling out the application, please list any other funding programs you are currently receiving.

Can an applicant apply for and receive more than one grant?

Yes, over time, subject to approval of the Vocational Grant Committee.

How long of a school program can be approved?

These grants are intended to fund short term educational programs.  A good fit would be programs lasting 3~12 months.

Can this program be used to obtain a 4 year college degree?

No, the program is intended to increase income over the short term.

First Step Vocational Grant Program makes grants of up to $3,000 for tuition and direct expenses of a short-term course of study.  (Not living expenses, etc.)
